About the

International Visual Arts Fair in Kinshasa

In order to enhance and promote culture and art, the collective FAXBUSS EMPIRE is fighting for the implementation of a project entitled the INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF VISUAL ARTS OF KINSHASA (SIAVKIN) in acronym. SIAVKIN will bring together national and international visual artists.

Today, culture has become an economically viable sector with a high added value. Thus, thanks to the liberalization of radio and television and marketing, the margin for growth of the culture sector on a global scale would be around 10%, that is to say much higher than in other industrial and commercial sectors.

The DRC is full of talented young artists who are still in the shadows for lack of quality support and lack of information specifically for young artists who live in the depths of the Democratic Republic of Congo; tandisque These young artists can be major players in development in the cultural sector if they benefit from quality support for capacity building, creation, dissemination and promotion of their works.

By providing mechanisms to promote culture in the visual arts, this project aims to perpetuate a future in the cultural sector by serving populations and artists and focuses on creating, artistic awakening, artistic production, dissemination, discovery, and exchange.
